Storyline:

·        Scene I:

o       Louis has promised his older brother Dawie that he would help him learn some moves to use at Fighting Kids.

o       Dawie is sitting on the couch in the lounge, waiting for Louis to come home from his wrestling practice.

o       Louis comes through the door and walks through the lounge towards the bedroom.

o       Dawie calls out for Louis to wait … he wants to talk with him.

o       Louis just says “later” and walks on towards the bedroom.

·        Scene II:

o        When Louis comes out of the bedroom, he is wearing his singlet, with the straps down.

o        As he starts walking through the lounge on his way into the yard, Dawie gets up and intercepts him.

o        Dawie reminds Louis that he promised to help him learn some wrestling moves he can use in an upcoming submission wrestling session at Fighting Kids.

o        Louis says that he is really out of shape for his wrestling and he needs to do some work to get more fit.

o        He is going out to work out with the punching bag; he can teach Dawie some moves another time.

o        He turns and walks away from Dawie and heads off to the torture tree to do some work with the punching bag.

·         Scene III:

o        Louis arrives at the punching bag and begins his workout.

o        Dawie comes out of the house and approaches him.

o        He tentatively taps Louis on the shoulder to interrupt him.

o        Louis impatiently asks him what he wants.

o        Dawie insists that Louis promised to help him learn some wrestling moves and his session is tomorrow … there is no more time.

o        Louis impatiently says not now … maybe later.

o        Louis turns back to the bag and resumes his workout.

o        Dawie interrupts him again … he is not going to be home later … they have to do it now.

o        Louis dismisses Dawie with “I said later … now go away and leave me alone”.

o        Dawie interrupts again … Louis promised.

• Scene IV:
• Louis gives Dawie an impatient shove and tells him OK, you want to wrestle, we will wrestle.
• Dawie knows Louis is really annoyed and decides it’s best to leave him alone.
• Dawie says he is sorry he interrupted Louis.
• Dawie turns away and starts to walk away from Louis.
• Louis attacks Dawie and wrestles him down to the ground.
• He puts Dawie on his back and pins him down with a Bully Pin.
• He tells Dawie that he said he wants to wrestle and they are going to wrestle.
• Dawie thinks this is not a good time since Louis is clearly upset but Louis says now is the perfect time … he is really in the mood to wrestle someone.
• Louis threatens to punch Dawie if he does not agree to wrestle.
• Dawie hesitates and Louis starts to throw the punch.
• Dawie quickly says OK and Louis pulls the punch.
• Louis gets off of Dawie and helps him to his feet.
• The boys start walking towards the wrestling mat.
• Louis pushes and shoves Dawie towards the mat.

Wrestling Rules

• The boys shake hands before the wrestling begins.

·         The boys will wrestle eight 5-minute rounds.

• The match begins with the boys in a neutral standing position.
• All restarts will be on the mat in the sitting back Referee’s Position.

·         The boy who last had control will choose the staring position.  If neither boy had control, “rock-paper-scissors” will decide who gets to choose.

·         One choke AND one judo Arm-Lock (straight or bent) are permitted in each round.

·         The first four rounds are short pin rounds:

• A Pin is scored when both shoulders are pinned to the mat for a 3-count; scores: 3 points.

o        There are no Half-Pins.

o        A Submission occurs when one of the boys taps out or verbally submits; scores: 4 points.

• The last four rounds are long pin rounds:
• A Pin is scored when at least one shoulder is held to the mat for a 10-count; scores: 3 points.

o        A Half-Pin is scored when at least one shoulder is held to the mat for a 5-count; scores: 1 point.

• A Half-Pin or a Pin can be scored by straddling the bottom boy and holding him on his stomach with a Stomach Double Arm-Bar for the required count.

o        A Submission occurs when one of the boys taps out or verbally submits; scores: 4 points.

• Anytime Bonus holds:
• Full Nelson/Body Scissors Combination; held for a 3-count; scores: 5 points.
• Crocodile Roll; scores 2 points for each roll.
• One-Time Bonus Holds (rounds 5 and 7):
• Butterfly – held for a 3-count; scores 10 points.
• Reverse Figure-Four – must be properly applied and held for a 3-count or a submission; scores: 10 points.
