Boys wrestle 8, 5 minute rounds. One sleeper and one armlock are allowed in each round. Ben-John may not choke because of the Fighting Kids 10 kilogram rule. However, Ben-John may use armlocks and body scissors. All restarts begin in the referee's position. The first four rounds are short-pin rounds which means both shoulders of your opponent must be pinned to the mat for a 3-count. A pin scores 3 points. A submission scores 4 points.

Rounds 5 to 8 are long pin rounds which means you must keep your opponent on his back and controlling him for a 10-count. If you keep your opponent on his back for a 5-count, then you score a half pin which is 1 point worth.
