One submission (choke or armlock) is permitted in each round. Body scissors are unlimited. Match begins with boys shaking hands. The boys start the match in a neutral, standing position. All restarts are from the Referee's Position. A Near-Pin is scored whenever one of the boys is able to hold the other on his back for a 5-count. A Pin is scored whenever one of the boys is able to hold the other on his back for a 10-count. A Submission is scored whenever one of the boys taps out or verbally submits. A Near-Pin scores 1 point. A Pin scores 2 points. A Submission scores 3 points. At the end of the match, the looser raises the winner's arm to acknowledge his win. The boys shake hands at the end of the match.
